Alex Dennison is a man with a problem: his fiancee committed suicide on the eve of their wedding, distressed by the bad reviews she received for her first role in a stage play - one which he wrote. One year later, Alex has decided that his fiancee was murdered by someone involved in the fatal play, and re-unites them under the pretext of having a read-through of his new play. "The play's the thing wherein we'll catch the conscience of the king" wrote Shakespeare, and Alex Dennison uses this trick to great effect. The playwright turns on the stage lights and prepares for the first reading of his new play. As the cast and crew assemble, an undercurrent of suspense is evident. As the read-through begins, startling connections to the murder begin to unfold.
A gripping plot and an unguessable ending make this stage adaptation of this 1982 made-for-tv film one not to be missed.
Add some suspense to your life! Auditions for Rehearsal for Murder are August 9 & 10, 2008 at 6:30 PM!
