The Ritz Theatre first opened its doors more than 80 years ago. At the time, The Ritz was "the" place to see a movie. The smell of fresh popcorn and the sights and sounds of our beautiful theatre bring back wonderful fond memories of our youth. Such a part of our rich tradition, movies continue to be one of our most requested events. Our Sunday Matinee Movie series will vary from month to month with a combination of family, classic and seasonal favorites. And, with the price of admission at just $3, it is still one of the best entertainment values around.

November 8 - The Longest Day - 1962 - We remember Veterans Day with this epic film about the invasion of Normandy

December 13 - Meet Me in St Louis - 1944 - Starring Judy Garland, this great movie musical celebrates its 65th anniversary.

January 10 - Jailhouse Rock - 1957 - January 8 would have been Elvis Presley's 75th birthday...party with us!

February 21 - Cinderella - 1950 - We celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Disney classic and salute The Ritz Players production of the musical.

March 14 - The Greatest Story Ever Told - 1965 - It's the 45th anniversary of this wonderful telling of the story of the life of Jesus this Easter season.

April 11 - It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World - 1963 - April is National Humor Month and this film is chock full of the greatest comedy stars of all time!

May 16 - I Remember Mama - 1948 - We honor all mothers with the screening of this award winning film starring Irene Dunn.

June 27 - The Miracle Worker - 1962 - This day celebrates the 130th anniversary of the birth of Helen Keller. Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke star.
